Identify your clay colors.

Step 1
Make an egg shape, about 1 inch big, using the light brown clay to make the head.
Tip: Stretch and knead the clay to remove wrinkles and unevenness

Shape two small flat triangles using the light brown clay to make the ears. Attach them at the corners of the wider end of the egg shape.

Step 3
Roll a tiny ball using the dark brown clay to make the nose and attach it at the center of the face. It should look like this.

Roll two small balls using the dark brown clay to make the eyes. Attach them on the face.

Step 5
Make the body by shaping a cylinder with a tapered top, about 3/4 inch tall, using the light brown clay.

Step 6
Shape a small flat log using the beige clay to make the belly. Attach it in front of the body and use scissors to trim excess clay.

Attach the head on the body.

Step 8
Shape two small, flat circles using the light brown clay to make the legs. Each about half an inch wide.

Shape two small teardrop shapes, about quarter of an inch, to make the feet. Slightly flatten them.

Attach the smaller points of each teardrop shape on the edge of each circle to form the full leg.

Attach the legs at the bottom of each side of the squirrel.

Mix a small piece of light brown clay with a smaller piece of dark brown clay to make the acorn body.

Shape a small egg shape using the mixed brown clay for the body of the acorn. Shape a small circle using the dark brown clay for the cap.

Attach the cap on the wider end of the egg shape.

Step 15
Use the side of the toothpick tool to press lines on the cap to add texture. Add a tiny log using the dark brown clay on top of the acorn to create the stem.

Attach the acorn on the center of the belly of the squirrel.

Step 17
Roll two small teardrop shapes using the light brown clay to make the arms, it should be about 3/4 inch long.

Use the toothpick tool to press two lines on the wider end of each teardrop shape to make the paws.

Step 19
Attach the arms on each side of the squirrel with the paws holding the acorn.

Step 20
Shape a long football shape using the light brown clay to make the tail, about 3 inches long.

Shape a thinner football shape using the beige clay and flatten it. Attach it on one side of the tail.

Step 22
Coil the longer end of the tail to almost half of the length and curve the other end toward the opposite direction, forming an S shape.

Step 23
Attach the tail at the back of the squirrel with the coil facing away from the body.

Step 24
Shape a log shape using the light green clay to make the bush, about 1 and a half inches long. Then slightly flatten it.

Use the side of the toothpick tool to press lines around the edge of the oval to bring shape to the bush.

Then press another line at the center of the bush piece.

Step 27
Repeat the same steps to create 2 more of the same piece.

Attach them all together like this.

Use scissors to trim the bottom of the bush to create a flat surface to help it stand.

Step 30
Roll tiny balls using the red clay to add berries. Scatter them on the bush.

Make a thick oval disc using the dark green clay to make the base, about 3 1/4 inches long.

Step 32
Attach the bush and the squirrel on the base and you're done!
