What’s the shelf life of an unopened kit?
A kit will stay fresh for at least a year in its original sealed, airtight package.
It’ll likely last even longer—we just haven’t tested it out that far yet! 😄
How long does it take for a finished piece to air dry?
Usually, the clay air dries in 24-48 hours. But if it’s feeling a little humid, it might take up to 5 days!
Once it’s fully dry, your Claymoo will have a foam-like feel.

I had a great time making it! I even added more toppings to make my ramen bowl look fuller, and still have enough to make another one! A couple suggestions: 1. It might be helpful to include a guideline on how much white to use for the bowl. I used more than half of the bag at first and it was way too much. 2. Tweezer helps a lot in placing the toppings and I barely used the poking tool. It might be helpful to include that on the guideline. 3. Individual components are very sticky so once they are put together it’s kinda permanent. Would be helpful to have a warning on that beforehand. 4. Would be helpful to have a guideline on how thick the noodle should be. I kinda just winged it but did remake all of my noodles and started over at one point. Still fun though!
I absolutely love Claymoo kits but the Ramen one is my favorite by far! Each kit comes with enough clay to make at least 2 or 3 bowls, and the instructions are super clear and easy to follow. This is a great kit for experts and beginners alike and the final product always turns out adorable! Highly recommend!
